Q.  What exactly is an "express tunnel" system? A.  Hurricane Bay 3 Minute Express Wash systems are automated express tunnels that allow customers to stay in the car during the carwashing process.  You drive your car into the entrance of a long, tunnel-like bay. The front tire, usually on the driver's side, is positioned on a special conveyor belt, and you put the car in neutral. The conveyor belt guides the car through the tunnel, where the car goes past several pieces of equipment, each with a specific purpose and soap application. Q.  Will the automatic pay station give back change if I choose to use cash to pay for a carwash? A.   Hurricane Bay 3 Minute Express Washes are equipped with easy-to-use auto sentry stations that allow a customer to choose a wash from the menu and pay using a Credit/Debit Card, Cash, or Gift Card.  If cash is used, the auto sentry gives back change in $1 increments. Q.  Do I need to show my receipt to the attendant when I enter the carwash tunnel? A.  No.  The Hurricane Bay 3 Minute Express Wash attendant is there to help guide you onto the conveyor track but you are not required to roll down your window and show your receipt.
